When:
February 26th SUNDAY
Schedule:
10am - 12:30am - Free Casuals (Come early for practice and get warmed up! get used to the inputs for the TVs/LCDs being used for the tourney)
10am - 1:30pm - Tournament Registration (we will close the registration at exactly 1:30pm, there will be no exceptions so please come early)
2pm - Tournament officially starts!
Tourney Fee:
150 Php
please don't forget about the 50 php venue fee.
Prizes:
GRAND PRIZE: 70% Pot + MVC PHILIPPINES T-SHIRT (Large) by Team X-Over
1st-Runner Up: 30% Pot (We're no longer giving away LabanParooza T-shirt for the 2nd place winner. Our materials were limited due to unforeseen numbers of customer orders.)
Tourney Rules and Format:
- 1 vs 1
- Race to 2 matches, Time Limit set to 99. (Basically Best of 3 matches)
- Loser of the 1st match can change character and assist, Winner can only change assist settings if the loser decides to change character.
- DOUBLE ELIMINATION, winner moves on and loser goes to the loser's bracket.
- Grand Finals will be best of 3 out of 5 matches.
- Pausing is not allowed. You may or may not be disqualified from the match depending on the circumstance/timing of the 'pause', the match marshalls will have the final decision.
- Players can request the marshall for a blind pick at the start of the set (To prevent counter-picking, each player will whisper their chosen character to the match marshall)
- No RL Fighting at the venue (bawal po ang pikon), you may be requested to leave the venue if you violate this rule.
REMINDER:
PLEASE bring your own stick and/or pad, if you dont have one, just borrow from someone who's willing to share at the venue. If you are using a pad, please bring your own USB connector as we won't allow you to play wireless.
