When: August 20th 2011, Saturday. Door Opens at 10:15AM and Tourney will officially start at 1PM sharp!


Where: 3rd floor Emporio Building corner Sgt. Fabian Yabut Circle St. and Orense St. Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City.

Pools? What are these so-called "POOLS"?

What is the advantage of utilizing the pools system?

What are seeded players?

Hardware/Equipment: around 6 or 8 PS3 setups (depends on the number of volunteers),
-PLEASE bring your own stick and/or pads, if you dont have one, just borrow from someone who's willing to share at the venue.)


Tourney Fees:
50 pesos to enter the event/venue
200 pesos for SSF4:AE tourney
150 pesos for MK9 tourney


Prize:
Winners will be given a trophy and claim the title as the Indestructible 2011 SSF4AE Philippine national champion of teh UNIVERSE of the world!

Also, the cash prize will be distributed into certain percentages for 1st and 2nd placers (prize for 3rd place is still under consideration). Although, the percentages are dependent on the number of participants. Also, total pot is reduced by the rental fee of the venue.


RULES/FORMAT:
-Race to 2 rounds, best of 3 matches, same format throughout the tourney.
-DOUBLE ELIMINATION, winner moves on and loser goes to loser's bracket.
-Both players can use any character at the start of the set.
-Loser of the 1st match can change character. winner cannot change character.
-AVOID BEING SALTY (ok lang siguro MURDERED FACE)
-Players can request the marshall for a blind pick (To prevent counter-picking, each player will whisper their chosen character to the match marshall)
